Wrestlers of the Week 12-2-18
Mason Adkisson took first in his Bracket this weekend in Macon. He has worked hard in the practice room for the last few weeks and his hard work was on display. He dominated his opponent in the finals. He is always graceful and humble even when he has great performances like he did this past weekend.
Luke Hayden performed very well in a stacked bracket. The best growth as a wrestler sometimes comes from our loses. Luke took 4th in a 16 man bracket. He also avenged a loss from last season. Not only was Luke not satisfied with his result. He took the initiative to ask his coaches what mistakes had he made during his loses and ways to improve. This shows a great self-awareness and determination to bring your game to the next level.
HENRY BOHLMEYER - Henry took to the mats in his 2nd year in a very well rounded bracket. In wrestling, sometimes there is nothing you can do but bite down on your mouth piece, and go for a ride. Henry had a few experienced, tough opponents in Macon. He went out there and gave those experienced kids some tough matches. He did not give up, and kept going until the final whistle. In time, technique will catch up to his sheer will and determination. You cant teach heart.
