Wrestlers of the Week 12/30/18
Wyatt Adkisson put all kids at 105 lbs on notice. He swept his bracket which included two state runner ups from last year and another state qualifier. His quirky unconventional style and confidence to go for broke are a few of the qualities that has Wyatt prevailing in some of his tough matches. Way to go Wyatt!!!
Gradon Hedberg is one of the hardest working kids in our practice room. His hard works shows on the mats. He pinned all three of his opponents this last weekend. As a youth coach our gratification comes from watching our young wrestlers progress. This last open mat we worked "setting the table". Gradon took it and implemented it in his final match of the day. As coach Tim Gilbert said, "He set the table perfectly." Way to go Gradon!!!
Mackenna Flowers earned the spot of honorable mention this week. This is Makenna's second year in the wrestling room. She is a hard worker. She dosent mess around , drills attentively, and put in extra work by attending extra practices. We continue to watch her grow out of her shell and look forward to seeing her progress over the next couple years. Way to go Makenna!
